Message from Mrs Dray

Hello Centipedes,

I hope you have had a good week and enjoyed your home learning that you have been doing.

I hear that you are all really excited about your move to Year One.  That is great news and shows me how grown up and sensible you all are.  Well done!

This week, in the June Bug Bubble, we have been working hard on our writing and spelling of words that contain adjacent consonants.  We have also had lots of fun on the bikes, playing with the small world farm and making 2D shapes.

What have you been doing this week?

Have a good weekend.

Bye for now,

Mrs Dray

Dear Rainbow Bug Class,

We have almost come to the end of the school year! Thank you for being such a lovely class. I will definitely see some of you next year as I will be moving to Year 1! You can always come and say hello!

This week the Rainbow Bug Bubble enjoyed looking at the artist Andy Goldsworthy. We decided to create our own art inspired by his use of natural materials.

What have you enjoyed doing this week?

Have a lovely week and remember to share what you have been doing on Tapestry. Take care and stay safe!

Personal Belongings

Dear parents/carers,

When the school was closed, the children left some of their belongings behind e.g. PE kits, pencil cases, water bottles. For health and safety reasons, we have put any belongings in storage but we will be sorting them out over the summer and they will be returned to your child in September.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hi June Bugs,

I hope you have all had a lovely week. I spent time preparing blog posts for you all and recorded a new maths video for your home learning next week. What have you all been up to?

Once again, looking at your observations on Tapestry has put a smile on my face, especially with such wet and windy weather this week. Here are some of the photos I enjoyed seeing on Tapestry.

My sister went to collect her new puppy this week and she sent me a few photos of him. She has decided to call him Percy. He is tiny and very cute!

Have a great week ahead.

Hello Centipedes,

I hope you are all well and having lots of fun.

I really enjoyed seeing all of your amazing work that you have shared with me on Tapestry.  Well done everybody!

This week, in the June Bug Bubble, we discussed our thoughts on moving to Year One in September.  We have had lots of fun playing outside and in the classroom we have explored the jungle animals and the Popoids.  We have also been working really hard on learning our number bonds to 10.

Keep being good for your families and don’t forget to keep sharing your super work for me to see.

Bye for now,

Mrs Dray
